(22 April) PSL 2025: Players With The Most Runs and Most Wickets After Karachi Kings vs Peshawar Zalmi

PSL 2025: The mid-phase of the Pakistan Super League 2025 has started with the Karachi Kings taking on Peshawar Zalmi at the National Stadium, Karachi. The Pakistan Super League 2025 continues to unfold like a well-scripted drama, with each match rewriting the leaderboard and adding fresh heroes to the spotlight.

As of April 22, after a nail-biting encounter between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi, the race for the top run-scorer and leading wicket-taker has become fiercer than ever. The points table is becoming the separator of the teams and Karachi Kings registered their third win of the season.

Speaking of drama, the clash between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi provided just that. Peshawar posted a modest 147 on a sticky surface – a score that never truly looked threatening. Babar Azam survived a close lbw early thanks to DRS, but Zalmi never got the momentum they needed, despite some handy middle-order contributions.

The Kings began their chase shakily, losing Seifert and Vince in quick succession. Warner held the innings together but was dismissed just when Zalmi sensed a comeback. Khushdil Shah, however, played the finisher’s role to perfection, guiding Karachi home with just two wickets to spare.

Let's take a look at the Points Table Updated After Karachi Kings vs Peshawar Zalmi:

On the bowling front, it’s the tall West Indian Jason Holder who has towered above all. With 11 wickets from four matches at an astonishing average of just 10.00, he’s been both clinical and lethal.
