The focus is all towards the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will be played next month. The tournament will begin on 19th February, and the final is scheduled to take place on 9th March. This will be the first time the event will be played after 2017.

The spotlight will be the India team as they enter the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Rohit Sharma-led side will be one of the top candidates to win the tournament. This is because of the kind of players that they have in their squad, and it would be very hard to stop them if they play to their potential.

India will be playing their matches in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai. They will open their campaign against Bangladesh on 20th February and, after that, will be taking on arch-rivals Pakistan in the next game on 23rd February before locking horns with New Zealand on 2nd March.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be a make-or-break for many Indian players. It's fair to say that the careers of some of the players will be online, and if they fail to perform, the tournament could turn out to be the last outing for them in international cricket.

Let's take a look at 3 Indian players for which ICC Champions Trophy 2025 can be the last tournament of their career

Virat Kohli

One of the biggest players who will be under the radar during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be Virat Kohli. The premier India batter has been enduring a lean patch in his career yet again and this has seen many questioning his place in the team. He has failed badly in the Tests and has also faced a lot of skewering as well.

Virat Kohli, even in the ODIs last year, struggled. He played three games against Sri Lanka and failed to get going. There have been several reports that have claimed that his future will be decided on how he performs in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. If he fails, then youngsters will be given the opportunity. But with the kind of player that he is, one cannot write him off.

Rohit Sharma

Another Indian player who will be under the pump during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be captain Rohit Sharma. The opening batter has come under serious scanner for his failures of late and very much like Virat Kohli, his place too is questionable. He is facing added pressure because he has been failing to make an impact as a leader too.

Rohit Sharma, however, has been a different beast in the ODIs. The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be a great opportunity for him to regain his form and reply to critics in style. However, the tournament also can be a career-ending for him as if he fails to get going; there are chances that he might be sidelined completely from the team.

KL Rahul

KL Rahul's place in the team, too, is under serious scanner. The keeper-batter has been under the pump since the final of the ICC World Cup 2023. He played a torrid innings of 66 runs and played over 100 balls, failing to hit boundaries as well. He was criticised a lot for his innings, and even after that, he failed to make an impact.

KL Rahul last played an ODI during the series against Sri Lanka. He played the two games of the series before getting dropped from the team for the final. With young keepers putting in great strides, it's fair to say that ICC Champions Trophy 2025 could be a make-or-break tournament for him.
