Most of us might remember Trent Boult as the premier pacer of IPL franchise Mumbai Indians (MI). However, it is interesting to note that Boult played two IPL seasons for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) as well, in the past.

Interestingly, Dale Steyn and Trent Boult were teammates in SRH during IPL 2015. The two have worked in tandem for the franchise and knows each other pretty well.

Moreover, Trent Boult was released by Mumbai Indians (MI) during the IPL 2022 Player retention process.

New Zealand quick bowler, Trent Boult, has been in a prime form in the last few years. He bowled sensational ever since he was traded to Mumbai Indians (MI). He played a key role in Mumbai’s success in the IPL 2020 in the UAE.

It has been seen that Dale Steyn has often praised kiwi pacer, Trent Boult, for his good bowling upfront. He was also seen lauding the kiwi pacer during the previous season and might be keen on having Trent Boult in the SRH squad.

The third pacer that comes to the list is Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) hasn’t retained the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar for the coming auction, however, the franchise might try to get him from the auction table at the lower price.

Though in recent times, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has struggled to find his rhythm back, however, he still is a lethal white-ball bowler. He has the canny ability to bowl the toughest overs and has been successful in it in the past.

There is the possibility of Bhuvneshwar Kumar returning back to SRH in the IPL 2022.

Delhi Capitals (DC) haven’t retained the likes of Kagiso Rabada for the upcoming season of the IPL. The franchise rather went ahead with Anrich Nortje as their premier fast bowling option. Having been released by DC, Rabada’s services will be up for grabs during the IPL 2022 Mega Auction.

Rabada was the leading wicket-taker in IPL 2020 and won the purple cap for DC. He is quite experienced and comfortable bowling in subcontinents.

26-years old Kagiso Rabada has exceptional bowling skills. He can hit the deck hard and fetch a good pace and bounce from it. He can swing the ball upfront and can deliver pinpoint yorkers. Moreover, his death bowling has been a significant weapon for him over the years.

Don’t be surprised if Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pays a mammoth sum to get honoured class services of the South African pacer Kagiso Rabada in the fifteenth edition of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL).
