3 Players on whom Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) might use their Right To Match (RTM) card:

Pat Cummins:

KKR will be interested in investing in the Aussie pacer Pat Cummins for the coming years. Apart from his bowling, he can contribute towards the team’s success with his sheer batting too. In the Vivo IPL 2021, Cummins had a decent run with 9 wickets in seven outings. He emerged as the leading wicket-taker for KKR this season.

He nearly pulled off a blinder against CSK with his brilliance with the bat. Although Cummins failed to justify his price tag in the IPL 2020 however his Vivo IPL 2021 performance was over the line.

Surely with a great combination of bowling and batting, KKR might opt to retain him and take his services for a couple of more years.

Varun Chakravarthy:

Mystery Spinner Varun Chakravarthy has been a talk of the town ever since he was handed his maiden national call-up against Australia however he was later ruled out due to injury concerns. Playing for KKR, Chakravarthy picked up wickets every time he was given the ball.

He picked up seven wickets in seven games for KKR in the Vivo IPL 2021. With a lot of variations complemented with perfect execution, Chakravarthy is a deadly weapon for KKR.

KKR will be willing to invest in him as Sunil Narine and Kuldeep Yadav are both out of form.

Prasidh Krishna:

As said earlier, KKR has several match winners. One of them is Prasidh Krishna. The young Indian pacer is in limelight for his raw pace. He can clock in excess of 145kmph consistently which makes him a lethal firearm for KKR.

He makes use of his height and produces the bounce to trouble the opponent. He also earned his name after he got his national call-up for India against England. He has also been named in the India squad for the England tour as a stand-by player.
