Vivo IPL 2021: The second leg of the Indian Premier League 2021 will begin shortly after the wrap of the India tour of England, which comprises five test matches. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) managed to square off 29 IPL matches in India before a series of bio bubble breaches halted the process.

The South African wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock will have a fruitful time in the upcoming second essay of the IPL 2021. Certainly, Cricket South Africa (CSA) will allow its players to join the tournament due to the subsequent T20 World Cup 2021, which is also scheduled in the UAE.

The young Indian opener, Prithvi Shaw will be one batter to watch out for in the second phase of the IPL 2021. Shaw made a brilliant comeback after facing huge criticism for his poor technique. Owing to his poor form, the cricketer was sacked from India’s test setup. 

Shaw was commendable in the first half, scoring 308 runs off eight innings. He averaged 38.50 with three half-centuries. 

He looked good in Sri Lanka as well during India’s recent limited-overs tour. He amassed 105 runs in three ODI matches against Sri Lanka in Colombo.

Talking about his last IPL performance, Shaw managed to score 228 runs from 13 matches. He averaged 17.53 with two half-centuries.

His recent performance against England in the test is well evident of his form. The cricketer managed to get 36 and 12* in the first test while he went 17 shy of his first overseas test hundred at the home of cricket Lords.

Sharma was looking good in the first essay of the IPL 2021. He scored 250 runs from seven IPL innings at a strike rate of 128.

Another Mumbai Indians (MI) batter that has made it to the list is Suryakumar Yadav. The middle-order batsman has made a name for himself in a very short time in international cricket.

Mumbai has won two titles since 2018 and Suryakumar Yadav owns a fair share of the wins. He played consistent cricket for his team during different situations. 

He scored 424 runs in IPL 2019 and 480 in IPL 2020 to power his team to titles. He has amassed 173 from seven innings in the IPL 2021 and will look to breach the 400 runs mark once more.

Owing to his brilliant IPL record, Yadav got his international call ups and turned them into a memorable ones. He has made himself a prominent member of the Indian team in no time.

He was sensational with his batting during the recent Sri Lanka limited-overs tour. Suryakumar Yadav will surely enjoy his outing in the IPL 2021 in the UAE and have a cracker of the season to cement his place in India’s T20 World Cup squad.

Rahul made valuable contributions for PBKS, scoring 331 runs from seven games. Moreover, the cricketer looked in better control and frame of mind this time. 

He amassed 670 runs off just 14 innings in the Dream11 IPL 2020 with an average of 55 and striking at 129. He served as the lone warrior for Punjab Kings last season.

Moreover, his recent Test form compliments his stats and makes him a formidable batter. He amassed 84 and 26 in the first test while still playing his trade on 69 in the second test at Lords against England.
