BAN vs AFG 2023: Bangladesh announced the Schedule of All Format Series with Afghanistan: This series, includes 1 Test match, 3 ODI matches, and 2 T20I matches between Bangladesh and Afghanistan from June 14th to July 16th, 2023.
Afghanistan tour of Bangladesh is set to start on June 14th with a one-off test match at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. Visitors will arrive on June 10th for the tour and will travel to India before the ODI series due to the break of Eid-ul-Adha. Afghanistan will travel back to Bangladesh on July 1st for the ODI series, which will start on July 5th in Chattogram.
Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan suffered from a finger injury during Ireland Tour and he will be important player for the upcoming series at home.
This tour contains One test match, which will be played at Dhaka, Three One Day International(ODI) matches at Chattogram, and Two T20 International matches at Sylhet.
Afghanistan will going to play a Three matches ODI series against Sri Lanka at Hambantota, Sri Lanka from June 2nd to June 7th. After That, they will travel to Bangladesh for the upcoming series. Afghan players will play back-to-back series after the IPL 2023, which causes a heavy workload on many players participating in the IPL 2023.
