Skipper Ben Stokes is going to lead the England Cricket Team in his first Ashes as a Captain. In his last 13 test matches Ben Stokes won 11 matches which shows that his current form as captain is outstanding and it is challenging for World Champion Australia to defeat England in English conditions.
Pat Cummins led Australian team is going to play their first Ashes match after winning the World Test Championship against India on 11 June. Test Captaincy record of Pat Cummins is outstanding under his leadership Australian team won their first WTC Trophy. Pat Cummins played 14 test matches as Captain in which he won eight and lost three matches.
Jonny Bairstow made a comeback to the England Cricket Team after a one year break from International Cricket. Wicket-Keeper Batsman Jonny Bairstow was struggling from Injury Shoulder Injury from a long period. The England Team added him as a wicketkeeper in playing 11.
Anderson and Broad are going to lead the Pace Attack of England Team in First Test of Ashes 2023. Both are the most experienced players in the Playing11 of England Team. James Anderson was the leading Wicket taker for England in Test Cricket. He played 180 test matches in which he took 560 wickets whereas Stuart Broad played 150 test matches in which he took 500 wickets.
