ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Schedule, Probable Venues, Teams

ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Schedule, Probable Venues, Teams: The thirteenth edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is slated to be held in India in the month of October-November. The coveted tournament is drawing the attention of millions of fans as we are getting closer to the commencement.

The preparations for the four-yearly competition are in full swing as the BCCI bagged the comprehensive hosting rights of the event in the ICC Future Tour Programme 2023-27. This will be the first time when India will host a 50-over World Cup on its own.

Previously, India has co-hosted three Cricket World Cups along with Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan. The 2011 World Cup, which India won under MS Dhoni’s captaincy, was co-hosted by India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has recently released the schedule for World Cup 2023 Qualifiers and it is expected to announce the complete schedule for the World Cup 2023 in a couple of days as well.

The draft schedule has already been prepared by the ICC and is sent to the competing nations for their approval. Once it gets approval from all the participating teams, the schedule will be made public. Reports suggest that the ICC is likely to announce the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 schedule on June 27.
