This India tour of West Indies is a full-fledged all-format tour including tests, ODIs, and T20Is. This will be the first outing of Team India in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle. Currently underplay the Ashes series is also the part of ICC WTC 2023-25 Cycle.
West Indies dominated India thoroughly till 2002 and just since then, they have been unable to win a single home or away test series against India. In the first 16 tests, India won just 2 and West Indies won 12. But things have turned around since 2002 as West Indies are unable to win a single Test series against India.
The Men in Blue last visited the West Indies in July 2022 for three ODIs and five T20 Internationals. India went on to dominantly win the one-day international series 3-0 and the T20I series 4-1. However, India hasn’t played a Test match on the Caribbean Island since 2019.
