ICC World Cup 2023 Full Schedule Released by ICC, India’s World Cup 2023 Schedule: The ICC World Cup 2023 is all set to kickstart on October 5 with the finalists of the 2019 World Cup – England and New Zealand – locking horns at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, team India’s campaign in the ICC World Cup 2023 will commence on October 8.
The much-delayed ICC World Cup 2023 full schedule was announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday after months of anticipation.
The 10-team tournament will see each side playing nine games in the round-robin format with the best four sides qualifying for the knockout stage. While the eight teams have already made their direct entry to the ICC World Cup 2023, the remaining two teams will join them at the end of the World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe.
Besides the ODI World Cup 2023 opener, Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium is also slated to host the IND vs PAK fixture on October 15 along with a couple of other group stage clashes and the final of the marquee event.
The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 final will be played on November 19 in Ahmedabad. The knockout stage will begin on November 15 with Semi-Final 1 to be held in Mumbai and Semi-Final 2 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
Team India’s few initial assignments in the ICC World Cup 2023 will be against Australia on October 8 in Chennai followed by Afghanistan in Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium on October 11 and Pakistan on October 15 in Ahmedabad.
