Australia’s 1st Inning:
In the Their First Inning, Australia had quite a bad start as they lost a couple of wickets in the early few overs. Australian main batters like Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschangne got out by scoring just 22 and 21 runs, respectively.
Till this time, England Bowlers were dominating, but After it, Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head made a crucial and massive partnership of 155 runs for the 5th wicket. Then Australia’s batters got all out at 263 runs in 60.4 overs. From England’s Side, Mark Wood took five wickets haul whereas Chris Woakes took three wickets and Stuart Broad got only two.
England’s 1st Inning:
Again, England’s openers got out early and couldn’t give a good start to their team, and after it, England kept losing wickets, but from one end, Skipper Ben Stokes stood on the pitch and scored 80 runs in 108 balls.
England got all out by scoring 237 runs on the scoreboard in their first Inning. Batters faced many difficulties while batting on this pitch as the Pacers got help from the surface. From Australia Side, Skipper Pat Cummins took six wickets, whereas Mitchell Starc got two.
Australia’s 2nd Inning:
In their Second Inning, Usman Khawaja showed his class and scored 43 runs, whereas Travis Head continued his form and aggressive batting; he scored 77 runs. Australia scored 224 runs in their second Inning and gave England a target of 251 runs.
In this Inning, England’s bowlers didn’t bowl aggressively but still got wickets; Stuart Broad and Chris Woakes took three wickets, whereas Mark Wood and Moeen Ali got two each.
England’s 2nd Inning:
England needs 251 runs in their second Inning to win this match and get ahead in the series, and they had a decent start but not so good. English Opener Zak Crawley scored 44 runs, whereas Harry Brook played a sensational knock of 75 runs, leading his team to victory. Australian bowler Mitchell Starc took five wickets.
