AUS vs PAK Day 3 Weather Forecast and Pitch Report of Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney| Australia vs Pakistan 3rd Test

AUS vs PAK Day 3: An important day of cricket, ruined by bad weather conditions at the SCG. Australia crawling to chase down the trail as the rain-affected day only allowed 46 overs on Day 2. The weather conditions are better but not greatly promising for Day 3 and we are here with the AUS vs PAK Day 3 complete weather forecast report and pitch report of Sydney Cricket Ground.

It is summer in the Australian continent and bad weather on an odd day is usual there at this time. Weather websites had already forecasted bad weather, strong winds and heavy clouds over the city of Sydney, and all that allowed only 46 overs of cricket on Day 2.

Warner and Khawaja were in the crease on the morning of Day 2. Both looked committed to defending tight ones and were very watchful during the first overs. Aamer Jamal came to bowl and straightaway found a knick off the Warner’s bat but Saim Ayub handed a life to David Warner when he was playing at 20. Agha Salman bowled a peach of a delivery to get rid of Warner at 34.

Australia got a solid 70 runs on the board before the fall of the first wicket. Khawaja displayed courage as well as determination but was unable to consolidate his initial lead, falling victim to Jamal. Jamal was sharp in his few spurts and bowled with terrific rhythm. Labuschagne appeared to be extremely at ease and played with poise.

Due to poor light, the umpires opted to stop the play in the latter part of the afternoon session which was followed by the rain pause. It rained for quite a long so that the umpires called off the Day. As of now, Australia are trailing by 197 runs and they have 8 wickets on their hands.

Down below is the AUS vs PAK Day 3 complete weather forecast report and pitch report of Sydney Cricket Ground:

AUS vs PAK Day 2 Pitch Report

As was mentioned before the game, on Day 1 at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground, bowlers and hitters found an even playing field. Here, Pakistan reached the average score in the first innings, which was around 310-320.

The field now appears firm and quick bowlers are certain to get some assistance. Australia were too slow in scoring runs. They scored just 110 runs in 46 overs which is just above 2 runs per over. This shows that bowlers are making trouble for batsmen to bat on.
