Team India Schedule 2024 T20 World Cup: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday, January 05 announced the complete schedule for the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA. The ninth edition of the T20 event is set to begin on June 1 in Dallas and the summit clash will be held on June 30 in Barbados.

The opening fixture of the T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held between the USA and Canada in Dallas. A total of 55 matches will be staged across 29 days including the Super 8 and knockout games.
Talking about Team India’s schedule in the 2024 T20 World Cup, the Men in Blue will begin its campaign against Ireland in New York on June 5. The high-voltage India vs Pakistan game will be staged in New York on June 9. India’s next two fixtures will be against the USA on June 12 in New York and against Canada on June 15 in Lauderhill.
India is placed alongside Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and the USA in Group A. A total of four groups of five teams each have been formed to accommodate the group stage fixtures.
The fact that India and Pakistan are in the same group creates the possibility of multiple engagements between the two sides. While they will meet first on June 9, both of them are also expected to lock horns in the Super 8 round followed by another India vs Pakistan fixture in the Knockout stage should the teams qualify for it.
