BPL terminates Shoaib Malik’s contract over match-fixing suspicion

Things are not going right for Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik at all. Days after he was brutally trolled for his third marriage with Sana Javed, things got worse for him as his Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) contract was terminated.

Shoaib Malik played Fortune Barishal in the BPL. However, he came under the firing line during the match against the Khulna Tigers. He hogged the headlines after he bowled three no-balls in the over. Being a spinner and bowling no ball didn’t go with many.

Shoaib Malik gave away 18 runs in that over and him bowing three no balls raised a lot of eyebrows. The all-rounder was accused of match-fixing fixing and it led to outbursts on social media. Many felt that the batter bowled deliberately like that and said that he’s involved in match fixing.

He also said that Fortune Barishal team owner Mizanur Rahman confirmed the news the batter won’t be taking part any further in the Bangladesh Premier League. He also didn’t play well with the bat in that game as he scored 5 runs off 6 balls.

A tweet from a journalist read: Fortune Barisal has terminated the contract of Shoaib Malik on the suspicion of “fixing”. During a recent match, Malik, who is a spinner, bowled three no-balls in one over. Mizanur Rahman, the team owner of Fortune Barishal, has confirmed the news,”
