As per the reports, Delhi Capitals (DC) Harry Brook has also pulled out of the IPL 2024 citing personal reasons. Notably, Brook remained out of the recently completed India vs England test series due to personal reasons.
Full Details of Injured Or Unavailable Players
- Mohammad Shami recently underwent surgery in London to treat his ankle injury. The pacer won’t take part in the Tata IPL 2024 and Gujarat Titans (GT) hasn’t named any replacement.
- England batter Jason Roy has also pulled out of the IPL 2024 along with Gus Atkinson to manage his workload. KKR has named Phil Salt and Dushmantha Chameera as the replacements for the two unavailable players.
- CSK have also been struck with an injury concern. Opener Devon Conway was ruled out after he copped a blow on his thumb. The batter is expected to remain shy of cricket action for at least eight weeks.
- Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) pacer Mark Wood has pulled out of the Tata IPL 2024 citing workload management. LSG subsequently roped in Shamar Joseph as his replacement.
- Prasidh Krishna will miss the Tata IPL 2024 due to his quadriceps injury issues. The Rajasthan Royals (RR) pacer is currently undergoing rehab.
- Matthew Wade has made himself unavailable for a few matches as he opted to play for Tasmania in the Sheffield Sheild final. The Aussie wicketkeeper is likely to remain unavailable for the first two matches.
