RR vs RCB: Virat Kohli is just 29 runs away from scripting history in IPL; Will become the first player to achieve this huge feat

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) Virat Kohli is on the verge of achieving a massive feat in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The batter is just 29 runs away from completing 8000 runs in the league.

Virat Kohli will have a huge opportunity to achieve the feat in the upcoming game against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 and it will be no bigger stage than it. The eliminator of the tournament will take place on Wednesday (22nd May) in Ahmedabad.

If Virat Kohli achieves the feat he will become the first player in the history of the league to achieve the feat, which speaks a lot about his calibre as a batter.  In the ongoing IPL 2024, he has gone the purple patch as he is scoring runs consistently.

Virat Kohli is one of the major reasons behind the dominance of Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the league. The batter has been giving his team brutal starts with the bat and has helped his team win the last 6 games on the trot and qualify for the playoffs.

Virat Kohli will be extremely crucial for his team in the IPL 2024 Eliminator. If the batter continues his good form with the bat, Royal Challengers Bengaluru will have a great chance to win the game and reach Qualifier 2 of the tournament.

Virat Kohli currently has 708 runs in 14 matches including five fifties and a century.  He is also 266 runs away from breaking his record for the most runs scored in a single season i.e. 973, which he achieved in the 2016 edition of the league.
