BCCI likely to postpone IPL 2021 Auction and Have Mini Auction

BCCI is planning to postpone or cancel the IPL 2021 Mega Auction as there will be not enough time for IPL franchises to make changes in the team. India Team tour to Australia, Big Bash League 2020-21 are in line in coming months. BCCI wants to organize IPL on schedule next year, but franchises need some time to get ready as we all know due to the COVID-19 situation IPL 2020 got late and completed by 10 November 2020.

Update:

Update: BCCI president Sourav Ganguly confirmed that there will be an auction before IPL 2021. Depending upon the situation this could be mini or mega.

Today on 24 December 2020 in BCCI annual general meeting decided to go for mini auction in February 2020.
