Tushar Deshpande, a right-arm medium-fast bowler from Maharashtra is definitely a wicket-taker and known for his consistency and accuracy. He made his debut in year 2020 playing for Delhi Capitals but after minimal success in five matches, he was released from the side.
Chennai Super Kings bought him in the 2022 mega Auction at his base price of 20 Lakhs. He played just 2 matches that year but the next two years for him and CSK were outstanding. He picked up 21 wickets in 16 matches in 2023 and 17 wickets in 13 matches in 2024, which has raised his bar. He is among the most wicket-takers in the last two seasons and he will definitely be on the radar of CSK, GT, and KKR.
4- Mohammed Shami
The UP-born right-arm fast bowler, sensational Shami missed the 2024 IPL Season due to injury and as a result, he was released from Gujarat Titans. He was previously sold for 6.25 Cr to GT in the 2023 mega Auction.
He is known for his accuracy and seam movement. Gujarat Titans would be interested in him and Mumbai Indians would also be looking at him. RCB and PBKS would also show some interest and the more the demand, the higher the price.
3- Bhuvaneshwar Kumar
The swing maestro of India- Bhuvaneshwar Kumar’s name is also going to come under the hammer this year. Sold for 4.20 Cr to SRH in the 2022 IPL Auction, he is released from SRH. This talented 34-year-old man has exceptional swinging ability with a good pace. Known for his consistency and economy, he is expected to bag at least 5-6 Crores.
The teams that could chase him are Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings, and Mumbai Indians. Don’t be surprised if you see RCB, PBKS, and DC also enter the snatch fight for him. He is going to have a good IPL Auction 2025.
2- Harshal Patel
Harshal Patel made his debut in 2012 in IPL but caught everyone’s eyes in the year 2021 where he took 32 wickets in one season in just 15 matches. In the IPL Auction 2024, Punjab Kings spent 11.2 Crores for him and he delivered for the expenditure with 19 wickets.
He is a genuine Wicket-taker. He can bowl in middle overs, he can bowl at the top, he can bowl in death, and whenever he gets a chance, he claims valuable breakthroughs. He can be a really handy player when there is a slight grip on the surface.

1- Arshdeep Singh
Arshdeep Singh, the left-arm fast bowler, has just put himself firmly in contention for one of the biggest paychecks at this year’s IPL auctions after the South Africa series. Without a doubt, he is going to be the most chased Indian fast bowler and might be in the top three most expensive bowlers in the Auction.
He has been consistently taking 15+ wickets since 2021 except in 2022 (10 wickets). His abilities are exceptional with great fitness. He can swing the ball and nail toe-crushing yorkers in the death overs. All and all he is a match winner and we see a lot of teams going for him.
Punjab Kings have a lot of money left in their kitty so they are sure to go all-out for him. Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders would be highly interested in him. Delhi and Gujarat would also target him if they could get him.
