New ICC Test Players Ranking 2020: Soon after New Zealand thrashed West Indies in the first test encounter at Seddon Park, Hamilton, ICC announced new Test Rankings for the batsmen, bowlers, and All-Rounders.
New Zealand closed down the game inside 4 days against West Indies in the first game. Black Caps skipper Kane Williamson scored his career-best 251 in the first innings allowed him to reach 886 in the ICC Test Batsmen Rankings.
Kane Williamson’s massive knock helped him to climb two spots equalling Virat Kohli in the MRF ICC Test Rankings. The recent gigantic knock helped him add 74 points to the tally, moving from 812 to 886 in just a single game.
However, another performer, Tom Latham from New Zealand also achieved his career-best rating points. Latham scored a good 86 runs in the first game against West Indies.

West Indies, Jermaine Blackwood kept his good form with him, as he reached 17th spot from 41. His counterpart Alzari Joseph also rocketed to 123 ranks.
New Zealand pacer, Neil Wagner raced up to reach the second spot in the MRF ICC Test Bowlers Ranking after his well-directed six wickets in the first game.
Tim Southee was also placed in the fourth spot after a successful instinct with the West Indies.
However, All-rounder Jason Holder was replaced by Ben Stokes for the first place in the MRF ICC Test All ROunders Ranking, while he is also slipped from fifth to seventh in the bowler’s rankings.
