ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 Schedule: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday announced the details of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022. New Zealand will host the tournament.
World Cup will be conducted in the window of one month from March 4 to April 3. All the games will be held at six designated venues in New Zealand.
Auckland, Tauranga, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin are picked to host the tournament. The opening encounter will be held between New Zealand and the qualifier on 4th March at Tauranga. The same venue will also host India vs England clash on March 16.
Team India will kick off their campaign on March 6 with the clash against a qualifier followed by the clash between the hosts on 10th March at Seddon Park, Hamilton.
On March 12, Women in Blues will face another qualifier team at Seddon Park before facing England on 16th March.
The remaining games of India are scheduled to be against Australia, a qualifier, and South Africa on March 19, 22, and 27th at Auckland, Hamilton, and Christchurch.
New Zealand’s two marquee stadiums, Wellington and Christchurch will host the Semi-Finals on March 30 and 31 while Christchurch will also conduct the final of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022.
