IPL 2021 Mini-Auctions likely to conducted on 16th February, Franchises must submit the final list by 20th January.
Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021: According to the recent development in the dates of the IPL 2021 mini-auctions, the confirmed dates are here. It is likely that the mini-auction will take place on 18 February ahead of the IPL 2021. BCCI has made it clear that all the players are without IPL contracts can register their names via the online registration system on or before 4th February 2021.
The BCCI previously told all the franchises to submit the final list of retained players till 20th January and they will not deal with any agent or player-manager to address any issues.
In the letter sent to the state associations, BCCI mentioned it clear that they will only deal with the respective state associations and if any player fails to complete the registration or any kind of the wrong move from players side will result in the withdrawal of the player name from the IPL auction pool.
“Please note that, at this stage of the process, the authorities of BCCI will only deal directly with the state associations and they will not be taking any discussions or communications with the player agents or managers. Any failure by the player will lead to the withdrawal of the name with immediate effect from the IPL 2021. Any wrong means will also lead to the same and series charges will be imposed on the players,” said the letter from BCCI to all the state associations.
Unique Usernames and Passwords for Registration:
The BCCI will send unique username and passwords for each player and state association will further sent these to the respective players by email. All the players will require this username and password to log in and start their registration process. Once the complete registration process is done the players are asked to submit the form back to the portal and take originals with them.
Physical signs are necessary for the IPL auctions agreement and players will have to send the original documents to the respective state associations.
Any player who is associated with the state associations and has played at least on first-class game or list A game can apply for the IPL 2021 auctions.
