Pakistan squad for the T20 World Cup 2021: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released its squad for the much-awaited T20 World Cup 2021. A strong 15-men contingent is named which is scheduled to participate in the T20I series with England and New Zealand before participating in the showpiece event of ICC.
The Men in Green will take on New Zealand in a three matches ODI and five matches T20I series, starting September 17. The Pakistani contingent will then lock horns with England for two T20Is, starting October 13.
Babar Azam will lead the 15-men contingent of Pakistan while Mohammad Rizwan will be his T20 deputy for the tournament. The likes of Asif Ali, Shaheen Afridi, Shahdab Khan, and Azam Khan along with others are included in the squad.

Fakhar Zaman, Shahnawaz Dhani, and Usman Qadir are named as the travelling reserves for the showpiece event.
Pakistan will play its first match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 against India on October 24. Both the teams are placed in the second group by the ICC. The group also consists of Afghanistan, and New Zealand alongside India and Pakistan.

Traveling reserves: Fakhar Zaman, Usman Qadir, Shahnawaz Dhani.
