While the top players will be on the tour of England, another team will play against Ireland in the two matches T20I series.
India’s tour of England will comprise 1 Test match (rescheduled), three T20Is and as many ODIs. The tour will begin on July 1 with the rescheduled test match which is the part of five matches Test series which was halted midway, last year, following the disruption caused by the covid.
Following the one-off test in Edgbaston, India and England will lock horns in the T20Is followed by the ODIs.

England vs India 2022 Test, ODI, T20I Squads and Players:
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already announced a 17-men strong Indian squad for the one-off test match between India and England. KL Rahul will miss the test match due to a groin injury. The Indian cricket board hasn’t yet announced his replacement.
Meanwhile the squads for the T20I and ODI series are yet to be named by the BCCI. It is expected that the squad touring Ireland will be kept the same for the tour of England.
England Cricket Board (ECB), though, hasn’t revealed any of their squad for the India series as of now.
