World Test Championship (WTC) Points Table [Updated] after AUS vs WI 1st Test: Australian Men’s Test side has consolidated its grip on the 1st place in the ICC World Test Championship Points Table with a 72.23 win percentage following an impressive victory against West Indies at Perth in the 1st Test.
Pat Cummins-led side secured a comfortable 164-run victory against West Indies in just four and a half days of the first test match which started on November 30 at Perth. Australia gained 12 rating points with the win and retained its first position in the ICC World Test Championship Points Table.
In the total of 11 Test matches, Australia has managed to emerge winners on seven occasions while in one game they ended on the losing side and three matches were declared drawn.
On the other side, West Indies stands in the sixth position with four wins, four losses and two draws in 10 Test matches. The Caribbeans have 45 win percentage in their Test outings so far.
Meanwhile, team India is currently placed in the fourth position with an overall 75 rating points. In 12 Test outings so far, India has managed to win six games while four resulted in a loss. Besides, two of India’s games were declared drawn. Team India’s win percentage stands at 52.08.

Pakistan stands a chance to leap to 3rd place in WTC ranking:
The England tour of Pakistan is underway with 1st test match being played at Rawalpindi. If Pakistan manages to go over the rope in the 1st test match against England, they will jump over India and Sri Lanka to the third position in the points table. While a loss to Pakistan or even a draw match will not have any impact on the current standings.
As of now, Pakistan is placed fifth in the ICC World Test Championship Points Table with a 51.85 winning percentage. On the other side, England has consolidated a poor win percentage of 38.60 owing to which they have been placed seventh in the current rankings.
