Babar Azam becomes Second fastest Asian Batter to Score 12000 Runs: Pakistan Skipper Babar Azam reached a new milestone of 12,000 runs in international cricket in just the 277th innings after playing a knock of 49 runs against New Zealand in the first ODI.

Babar reached this historic milestone during his 49-runs inning against New Zealand in the ongoing ODI series at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The Talented player of Pakistan became the second fastest Asian batsman to reach this milestone of completing 12,000 runs in an international career at the age of 28.

Virat Kohli was the first fastest Asian batter, who reached this milestone of 12,000 runs in just 276 innings. Only four international players are above Virat Kohli, who reached this milestone in fewer innings than Virat Kohli innings.

Virat Kohli took 276 innings to reach this milestone. At the same time, Joe Root is the fourth fastest international player to reach this milestone in just 275 innings. He takes one inning less than Virat Kohli to achieve a remarkable milestone in his career.
