Asia Cup 2023 Match Timings Revealed by ACC: Weeks after announcing the schedule for the Asia Cup 2023, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has finally revealed the match timings for all the matches. The match timing details were disclosed by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Monday.
Notably, the Asia Cup 2023 is slated to commence on August 30 with hosts Pakistan taking on Nepal in Multan. The 6-team tournament will be held in a hybrid model, whereby four matches will be held in Pakistan and the remaining 9 games will be hosted by Sri Lanka.
Talking about the Asia Cup 2023 match timings in the Indian region, all 13 fixtures will begin at 3 PM Indian Standard Time (IST), which is 8:30 PM GMT.
The most anticipated IND vs PAK game in the Asia Cup 2023 will be held on 2nd September in Kandy. The game, as mentioned above, will begin at 3 PM IST.
The tournament will be held in the 50-over format keeping in mind the importance of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, which will be held after the Asia Cup. The six-team continental tournament will prove to be a World Cup 2023 preparedness test for the participating teams.
Six teams have been divided into two groups for the event. Group 1 include India, Pakistan and Nepal while Group 2 consists of Bangladesh Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
