Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan announced a Strong 17-Members Squad, Babar Azam, to Lead the Side: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced Pakistan’s squad for the Asia Cup 2023, including a good mix of experienced and youth Players.
Babar Azam, the current number-one-ranked ODI batsman in the world, leads the team. Babar is a prolific run-scorer who can score runs in all conditions. He is well-supported by Mohammad Rizwan, the wicket-keeper batsman who is also in good form.
Pakistan is grouped with India and Nepal in Group A. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 4 Round. Pakistan will play their first match against Nepal on August 30 at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan, Pakistan.
The final will be played on September 17 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan will be leading the batting line-up, whereas Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, and Saud Shakeel are all in good form, and Mohammad Haris is a reliable wicket-keeper.
Shadab Khan is an all-rounder who is one of the best bowlers in the world in white-ball cricket. Shadab will be supported by Salman Ali Agha, who is also in good form.
Shadab Khan and Salman Ali Agha are the key spinners in the team, whereas Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf are Front Line Bowlers. The team also has several other bowlers capable of taking wickets, including Usama Mir, Naseem Shah and Tayyab Tahir.
Pakistan is one of the favourites to win the Asia Cup 2023. The team has a good balance of batting and bowling, and the players are all experienced in international cricket. If Pakistan can play to their potential, they will be challenging to beat.
