Rohit Sharma and Company are participating in the Asia Cup Practice Session ahead of Asia Cup 2023.
India will play the First match of Asia Cup 2023 against Pakistan on 2 September 2023 at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Kandy. BCCI picked 15 net bowlers for India Team Practice Session ahead of Asia Cup 2023.
The Players like Umran Malik, Yash Dayal, Kuldeep Sen, Sai Kishore, Rahul Chahar, Shams Mulani, and more others were the net bowlers of the India Team in Asia Cup Practice Sessions.
After winning the ODI series against Ireland by 2-0, Jasprit Bumrah and Company will return to India on 25 August 2023 and Join the Team on 26 August 2023. Jaspirt Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna are in the squad of India Team for Asia Cup 2023.
Wicketkeeper Batsman KL Rahul batted for a long time during a Practice session in Alur. KL Rahul played against Jadeja, Sai Kishore and Kuldeep Yadav. KLRahul was injured during IPL 2023. After that, he missed the WTC Final and West Indies Tour. Team management is monitoring KL Rahul’s Performance in Net Sessions and his fitness after recovering from Injury.
The Players of the Indian Team are batting in pairs like Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer, Hardik Pandy and Ravindra Jadeja for around 1 hour each.
In the Practice Session, Virat Kohli practised alone against Kuldeep Yadav and Sai Kishore. In recent years, Virat Kohli has faced problems while playing against Spinners, especially against Leg spinners. These practice sessions will help Virat Kohli in Asia Cup 2023 and World Cup 2023 to play confidently against Spinners.
