The Australia vs Pakistan third test is going to be the last international red-ball match for David Warner as he has announced his retirement from the Test and ODI format. And on his last Test, Australia has already made the strong ground.
It was a good toss to win and Pakistan opted to bat first. Siam Ayub and Abdullah Shafique opened the innings for Pakistan but both went back duck. Masood and Babar took charge then but Cummins managed to get rid of Babar and Saud Shakeel to the end of the first session. Rizwan and Salman combined their powers to make Pakistan bounce back.
Rizwan missed his century by 12 runs and Pakistan were nine wickets down for 227 runs. Aamer Jamal got the job then to put Pakistan in a safer place when he scored 80-odd runs with Hamza at the other end. Pakistan posted 313 runs at the end and still time for one over was left. Warner was the batter to face the balls and he did it safely.
Now, Australia are trailing by 307 runs when they will enter the ground tomorrow morning. Down below is the AUS vs PAK Day 2 Weather Forecast and Pitch Report of Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney for the third Test:
