Team India will face Australia in the upcoming World Test Championship final, which is to be played from June 7th to June 11th at the Oval in London. Indian players are heading into the WTC final after having played a two-month-long IPL. There were many great performances from the players in the IPL, which will give Team India some relief moving into the WTC final. India’s bowling will be under so much focus as bowlers will have a mammoth task to adapt to the conditions in England.
For team India, one of the key bowlers will be Mohammed Siraj, who has done perfectly fine in recent years and will be one of the leading bowlers for the team in the WTC final. Mohammed Siraj plays for RCB in the Indian Premier League alongside Australian player Josh Hazlewood. Both players will be against each other in the WTC final, and Hazlewood feels that Siraj is bowling well.
“I was a bit late getting there (to RCB this year), but before then he was on fire. His control was great and he is bowling well,” said Hazlewood as quoted by ICC.
“He is up there at the top of the wickets every time, and the economy rate was probably the thing as bowling at Chinnaswamy is impossible sometimes and he was going at six or six-and-a-half and over,” said Hazlewood.
