Australia Reveals ICC World Cup 2023 Jersey: Cricket Australia (CA) on September 22, Friday dropped their kit for the Men’s ICC World Cup 2023, which incorporates an elegant minimalistic design. The development was confirmed by the Aussie cricket board via their social media profiles, the previous day.
Australia has not tinkered a lot with the color pattern – Yellow and Green – in their jersey for the ICC World Cup 2023. The design too has been kept simple by the cricket board and it actually looks pretty elegant.
At the center of it, you will find Australia written on it in bold green letters. One side of the chest showcases the logo of the Men’s ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, while the other has Cricket Australia’s logo. There is nothing extra on the front of the jersey except this.
On the sides of it, there is a simple First Nation Artwork showcasing a striking design by Aunty Fiona Clarke. The design or pattern has been displayed predominantly on either side of the jersey.
First Nation Artwork showcases Australia’s indigenous culture, which is used by the Aborigines as a visual medium of storytelling to document their relationship with the land, cultural beliefs, and historical events. The circular symbols used in the First Nation Artwork provide an alternative means of documenting narratives that carry a profound cultural importance and, at the same time, pass on lessons about survival and sustainable land utilization.

Pat Cummins-led Australia will commence their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign on October 8 against hosts, Team India at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Their second fixture will be against South Africa, a couple of days later, in Lucknow.
