Australian women’s won Women Ashes 2023: In one-off Ashes Test, Australian women beat England by 89 runs at Trent Bridge Cricket Stadium, Nottingham. For the first time in history, Australian women beat England women in the 5-Days Ashes Test Match.

On Day 5, Australian women needed five wickets to win the famous test Ashes series in England. The Player of the match Ashleigh Gardner took 12 wickets and scored 41 runs in the one-off test match of women’s Ashes 2023 against home team England. His magnificent performance helped the Australian women to win the match.

In the first Inning, Australian women scored 473 runs with the help of Annabel Sutherland’s fantastic innings of 137* runs. England scored 463 runs with the help of 208 runs innings of Tamsin Beaumont. Australian women scored 257 runs in the second innings with the help of Beth Mooney’s 85 runs inning. In the Final inning, the England team got all out on 178 runs and lost the match by 89 runs.  

Double Century of Tamsin Beaumont gone vain:

The Double Centurion, Tamsin Beaumont’s innings of 208 runs were wasted after England lost the match. In the first innings of England, Tamsin Beaumont played an outstanding innings of 208 runs in just 331 balls.

With his wonderful innings, England reached a total of 463 runs on board in the first innings, only ten runs behind the Australian team’s score. In the second innings, Tamsin Beaumont lost his wickets to Ashleigh Gardner on 22 runs. His 208 runs innings helped the England team to survive against mighty in the 5-Day Test match.

Ashleigh Gardner created History for Australia in one-off Ashes 2023:

In women’s Ashes 2023, Star All-rounder Ashleigh Gardner took 12 wickets in a one-off test match against England women. The pitch of Trent Bridge helped Gardner to get a turn and bounce from the surface. As a result, he took 12 wickets in the match.

Spinner Sophie Ecclestone took ten wickets in both innings against the strong batting side of Australia. Ecclestone took five wickets in both the innings of the match at the spin track of Nottingham. The performance of Ashleigh overshadowed the inning of Sophie Ecclestone. As a result, England women lost the match.
