Babar Azam declared as big fraud after India vs Pakistan ICC Champions Trophy 2025 clash
Pakistan National Cricket Team player Babar Azam has been called a fraud by former player Shoaib Akhtar. This comes after the right-hander failed to get going with the bat in the clash against India National Cricket at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Sunday (23rd February).
Pakistan National Cricket Team suffered a thumping loss against India National Cricket Team in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Rohit Sharma-led side emerged winners by 6 wickets and marked their second consecutive win of the ongoing eight-nation tournament.
Pakistan National Cricket looked torrid with bat and ball as they first got out for just 241 runs and then failed to defend the target. Babar Azam, who opened the innings, looked solid but couldn't carry on well as he was removed by Hardik Pandya after scoring just 23 runs off 26 balls.
On the other hand, Virat Kohli slammed a terrific century and helped India win the game. The batter hit his 51st ODI ton and ended with the innings of unbeaten 100 to take India home. He oozed his class and returned to form in what was a big clash for the team.

While analysing the game, Shoaib Akhtar lashed out at the comparison of Babar Azam with Virat Kohli. He called the player Tuk Tuk and said that he was a fraud from the beginning. He said:

I have worked with the captains, whose personality used to chance thrice a day,”
With the loss against India, Pakistan National Cricket Team faced their second consecutive loss in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. They have now almost been knocked out of the tournament. Their qualification will now depend on other teams.
