Pakistan captain Babar Azam joined West Indies batter Chris Gayle in the elite list in the T20s. The batting maestro became only the second batter in the history of the game to get to 10 T20 centuries in the shortest format of the game.
Babar Azam achieved the feat in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) while playing for Colombo Strikers against Galle Titans. The batter played a magnificent inning for his team while chasing and made sure that win the game and make their case strong in the points table of the league.
Babar Azam, who opened the innings in the chase of 189 runs, first stitched 111 runs opening partnership with Pathum Nissanka (54) and played some blistering strokes all around the ground. He made a mockery of the opposition bowlers and made them clueless in front of him.

Babar Azam reached his maiden LPL ton in just 57 balls and ended with the knock of 104 runs off 59 balls that included 5 fours and 1 six as well, batting with a strike rate of 176.27. He is now second on the list of most T20 centuries. He has 10 tons to his name and only has Chris Gayle ahead of him, who has scored 22 hundreds in this format of the game.
