Although, the name of the player wasn't revealed but the news in the Pakistan media is that a massive storm is likely to hit Pakistan Cricket. This comes after the Mohammad Rizwan-led side had a terrible outing in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Pakistan National Cricket Team have been eliminated from the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This comes after they faced two back-to-back losses in the tournament. The Mohammad Rizwan-led side first faced defeat against New Zealand and then again against arch-rivals.

Babar Azam, in particular, has come under massive scanner with fans lashing out at him for his poor performances. The batter slammed a slow fifty in the first game against New Zealand and then struggled to get going against India as well, scoring just 22 runs.
On the other hand, Shaheen Afridi, along with Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah, have also come under massive pump. With them being the premium pacers, they couldn't make a bigger impact, and their place in the team is under scanner, too.
With reports of one big player announcing retirement, it remains to be seen who will be that player. Many are speculating that it might be Babar Azam as the batter has come under massive scanner for his poor outings of late.
