Afghanistan batted well in the match and scored 331 runs on the scoreboard; Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran gave an excellent start to his team, whereas Middle-order flopped today, but they gave a sizeable target to Bangladesh.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran made a massive 256 runs partnership for the 1st wicket, and they fully dominated Bangladesh. This partnership was the biggest partnership for Afghanistan in the One Day International Cricket for any wicket.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz played wonderful cricket and scored 145 runs in 125 balls with eight sixes and 13 fours at a strike rate of 116.00. Ibrahim Zadran knocked out his 4th century, he scored 100 runs in 119 balls with one sixes and nine fours at a strike rate of 84.03.
Bangladesh bowlers leaked lots of runs in the starting half of the first inning, but then in the other half, they made a good comeback and took nine wickets of Afghanistan. Mustafizur Rahman, Hasan Mahmud, Shakib Al Hasan, and Mehidy Hasan took two wickets each.
Bangladesh had a poor start in the Second Inning as they lost a couple of wickets in the Powerplay. Bangladesh failed to chase the target and got all out in 43.2 overs. Mushfiqur Rahim scored 69 runs in 85 balls, whereas Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan scored 25 runs in 48 balls.
Afghanistan Bowlers has shown good intent and cricket. Fazalhaq Farooqi and Mujeeb ur Rahman took three wickets each, whereas Rashid Khan took two wickets. They are leading the series by 2-0.
