The 30-year-old Belgian striker has been in a difficult spell since the last two seasons. Being loaned to Inter Milan last year and currently being loaned to Roma, it’s evident that the striker will be making another move this season since it’s difficult to find him a place in Stamford Bridge.
Romelu Lukaku drops hints on his next transfer
The Belgium international is finding it difficult to have a place in his side and has been on loan since the last two seasons. The Roma striker has scored 15 goals this season overall in his 25 appearances. There is a big drop in his performance and will be trying to make it up in the upcoming seasons.
Though, irrespective of his form, the Belgium international has been in the news after his new statement which finds him praising the Saudi Pro League. Lukaku in an interview said, “In the next two years I see Saudi Pro League becoming one of the best in the world, if not the best. The clubs make a lot of efforts to bring the ‘big’ players here. They are improving a lot”.
The Saudi Pro League has been impressive since the transfer of Christiano Ronaldo. Many other big names from Europe were also signed by the SPL league and it’s anticipated that there could be a promising future for Football in Saudi.
Romelu Lukaku will be looking for a transfer amid his contract with Serie A club Roma. He started the campaign with Jose Mourinho in charge but with his departure earlier this month, Lukaku might find it hard to stay in Italy. His recent interview is anticipated to be a possible hint to join the Saudi League and be the next star from Europe into the Middle East.
