Chennai Boy Become Second-Oldest Indian to Achieve Feat in ODI Debut

India Spinner Varun Chakravarthy is making an ODi debut in the ODI against India Vs England match At Calcutta. Varun Chakravarthy played very well and took 14 wickets in five matches. He was also named player of the series at that time. But now He also getting rewarded with an ODI debut, and not only that he also become the second oldest Indian ODI debut.

Varun Chakravarthy, cap No. was 259. On that day Jadeja - "It's a special day for you and your family,"  then after the team huddled up for the cap presentation ceremony before the toss, and that memorial movement video was shared by BCCI on social media.

Varun was a late addition to the Indian squad for the ODI series against England, with the Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee adding the spinner after seeing his exemplary show against the same opponents in the T20I series. Yet, there was no place for the spinner in the first ODI at Nagpur. However, against England in the second ODI, Kuldeep Yadav was sacrificed to make space for Chakravarthy in that match.
