Confirmed three Draft Picks of Ahmedabad and Lucknow ahead of IPL 2022: The two new added Indian Premier League (IPL) teams, Lucknow and Ahmedabad, have confirmed their top three draft picks players ahead of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. Both the above-mentioned teams will become functional from the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
On expected lines, flamboyant batsman KL Rahul has been named as the skipper of Lucknow. The franchise shelled out INR 17 Crores to get the services of Rahul for the IPL 2022.
The Lucknow based franchise roped in Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis as their second draft pick for INR 9.2 Crores while Indian uncapped spinner Ravi Bishnoi is bagged as the third pick for INR 4 Crores.

Meanwhile, the CVC Capitals owned Ahmedabad has also placed its authority on the three confirmed draft pick players.
Surprisingly, Indian all-rounder, Hardik Pandya has been appointed Ahmedabad’s skipper for the IPL 2022 for a massive INR 15 Crores. It must be noted that junior Pandya is still recovering from his recurring back injury.
Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan is Ahmedabad’s second draft pick, bagged for INR 15 Crores, and opener batsman Shubman Gill happens to be the franchises third draft pick for INR 8 crores.
