Cricket World Cup 2023: South Africa Announces Strong 15-Member Squad for the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023: On September 5, Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced the squad of South Africa for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. Temba Bavuma is going to lead the South African Team in this Marquee Event.
South Africa’s 15-Members squad includes experienced Players like Quinton de Kock, Aiden Markram, Rassie van der Dussen and David Miller. A young player named Gerald Coetzee has got his maiden World Cup call. Coetzee started his International Career this year against West Indies.
He has played two ODI matches so far and took five wickets with an economy rate of 5.50. A total of eight players got their maiden World Cup call, and Skipper Temba Bavuma will also play his first ODI World Cup for South Africa.
The Players, including David Miller, Kagiso Rabada, Quinton de Kock and Aiden Markram, will give the team more strength, and their experience in the tournament like World Cup will be a lot more beneficial for the team to handle the pressure in high-voltage matches.
