But the substitution should be such that at any point in time, there can be at the maximum only 4 foreign players on the field. This substitution can be done at any point in the game.

If they are asked to bowl first in any game and want the services of Piyush Chawla, they can play Chawla in the starting 11. They can ask him to bowl his 4 overs and once he is done, they can immediately replace him with an additional batter like Ramandeep Singh or Hrithik Shokeen.
