DC’s Mitch Marsh, Tim Siefert joins Delhi camp after recovering from Covid: In an encouraging development, Delhi Capitals (DC) all-rounder Mitchell Marsh and wicketkeeper batter Tim Siefert have joined the Delhi camp following their recovery from covid-19, the franchise informed on Wednesday.

DC shared a social media post after the two aforementioned players were set free from their isolation and wrote, “We are feeling GOOD. Great to have you back at the training, boys.”

Both the cricketers had contracted the dreaded covid, after which they were sent into the isolation. Notably, Mitchell Marsh was hospitalised after getting infected with the virus. However, both the overseas recruits of Delhi have now completed their recovery and the isolation period as well.

Marsh and Siefert were spotted during Delhi’s practice session on the eve of their clash in the Wankhede Stadium against Kolkata knight Riders.

Covid outbreak was recorded in Delhi’s camp as two of their playing members and four support staff returned covid positive in the regular covid tests. Further to deepen the troubles, one of the family members of head coach Ricky Ponting contracted the virus and the coach had to miss the proceedings of a match against Rajasthan Royals.

As of now, the situation is under control with no more covid positive cases being recorded in the squad.
