England Announced Playing XI
England has already revealed their starting lineup for the fourth match. While Moeen Ali has been positioned at No. 3 in place of Ollie Pope, Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett will continue to start the innings in the fourth Test. In the second innings of the Headingley Test, the all-rounder batted at this position but did not have much success.
Just a shuttle change in the lineup is that James Anderson will replace Ollie Robinson from the side that defeated Australia in the third Test.
“Lancashire seamer James Anderson replaces Sussex seamer Ollie Robinson from the side that defeated Australia in the third Test at Headingley last week,” ECB said in a statement.
Ollie Robinson, who was hurt during the team’s victory against Australia in the third game of the series last week, claimed earlier this week that he will be available for the fourth Ashes test.
Before experiencing a back strain at Headingley, Robinson only bowled 11.2 overs. In Australia’s second innings, he fielded and played six balls with the bat, but he did not bowl again.
