England Squad for T20Is 2021: ECB announced England squad for 5 T20Is against India.

England Squad for T20Is 2021: England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Thursday announced a strong 16 men T20I squad for the upcoming T20I series against India. The squad looks formidable with the likes of world-class hitters and renowned class cricketers.

The squad includes the likes of Eoin Morgan, Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer, Ben Stokes available for the series. After the successful T20 tournament for 27 years, Liam Livingstone has been brought in to the T20I side by the selectors. Livingston will be featuring in any T20I squad for England after a long gap of 3 years.

The 27 years old batsman was in tremendous form in the recently concluded Big Bash League season 10. Playing for Perth Scorchers, Livingstone amassed 426 runs in 14 games with a strike rate of 133.96.

“This should be some series! #INDvENG,” read the caption on the tweet announcing the squad by England Cricket’s official Twitter account.

The England cricketers will depart on February 26 for the series. 

The five games series will begin on 12th March. All the five T20I games will be held in Sardar Vallabh Bhai Stadium (Motera Stadium).

Both the teams are currently engaged in the four-game test series. First of which is won by the visiting contingent by 227 runs. The second game will begin tomorrow in Chennai while the final two games will be held in newly build Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Eoin Morgan (capt), Moeen Ali, Jofra Archer, Jonathan Bairstow, Sam Billings, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Chris Jordan, Liam Livingstone, Dawid Malan, Adil Rashid, Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, Reece Topley, Mark Wood.
