England vs Australia: Cricket has become modern in the last few years. All team players, coaches and their captains adopt new strategies to defeat the opposing team. In such a situation, England coach Brendon McCullum is playing with a new strategy in the ongoing five-match Test series between England and Australia (The Ashes 2023). Which is getting a lot of headlines for the last few days. So what is "Bazball Cricket"? Let's know in today's article.
What is Bazball Cricket?
Simply, Bazball cricket means "Play Cricket in Fearless Style". The England team has been in the limelight in the last few years. After the arrival of the new coach Brendon McCullum, the style of the team has changed, the whole team is demonstrating attacking and fearless style of play. The attacking mentality with which the England team is playing white ball cricket (ODI, T20) is adopting the same strategy in red ball cricket (Test match).
As we all witnessed, England declared their innings by scoring 393 runs while playing attacking cricket on the first day of the first game of The Ashes 2023 between England and Australia. The unique aspect of this inning was the 393 runs he scored, averaging 5 runs per over. In the first innings, wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow scored 78 runs in 78 balls with the help of 12 sixes, while Joe Root scored 108 runs in 152 balls with the help of seven fours and four sixes.
The way he played the attacking game while batting, in the same way in bowling also all the players seen with the attacking field were within 30 yards, which also gave them the advantage. Well, how effective this type of attacking game will prove to be for the England team, it will be known only after the test is over.
The ongoing Ashes 2023 first Test match between England and Australia has reached an exciting stage. Today is the last day of the game and Australia need 174 runs to win, while England need 7 wickets to win the match. Usman Khawaja, the centurion of the first innings for Australia, is still present at the crease. He has scored 34 runs in 81 balls with the help of six fours.
