ENGvsIND 2nd Test Preview: Following the shameful wrap to the opening test match at Trent Bridge, India and England will now lock horns at the ‘Home of Cricket’ Lord’s for the second test match of the series. The match will begin on August 12 at the Lord’s cricket ground in London.

Both India and England were in a comfortable position on day 5 of the first test match and any of the outcomes were possible, however, the rain restricted the players to step into the field on the entire day 5. The curtains were drawn into the game with the result being a draw.

For the second test match, there are a few injury concerns in both teams. India is doubtful for Shardul’s place in the team due to his hamstring niggle while England have already ruled out pacer Stuart Broad for the entire India series and James Anderson is doubtful for the second test match as well.

India is definitely having a good edge over England for the Lord’s test match owing to their last test performance. Pacers were able to pick all 20 English wickets in the given time and the batters did a fine job to amass runs. The Indian tale was brilliant with the bat as well.

England will have to work on its batting performances. Skipper Joe Root was the lone warrior in the entire match. It will be safe to say that England is missing the valuable services of all-rounder Ben Stokes with the ball as well as the batting at the end.
