Flop XI of IPL 2020, MS Dhoni to lead the side, Finch and Russell. Dream11 IPL2020, Full flop show by the players. Flop XI of IPL 2020, MS Dhoni to lead the side, Finch and Russell.

Flop XI of IPL2020. Dream11 IPL 2020 is over, defending champions playing the final encounter against Delhi Capitals. Mumbai Indians won the tournament with a comfortable 5 wickets in hand and 8 balls to spare. The Defending Champians improved their record in UAE of losing all 5 games which were played by MI back in 2014. However, this time the mindset was totally different and changed, MI players looked more experienced and comfortable.

However, there were a lot of players who struggled to retain their form back. Some of the players who put flop show in Dream11 IPL 2020 is here. We made a list of 11 Players who were super flop during the whole season.

List of flop XI of IPL 2020:

AARON FINCH (RCB):

12 Games || 268 Runs || 52 H.S. || 22.33 Average || 111.20 Strike Rate.

The Royal Challenger opener batsman was thought to bring a lot of experience in the batting lineup and give a flying start to RCB. The Australian Limited over skipper was brought by RCB for 4.4 crore Rupees in the Auctions. But it looks like Finch did not play to the expectations. Aaron Finch in his 12 appearances scored just 268 runs with a strike rate of 111 and it just included a half-century.

Prithvi Shaw(DC):

13 Games || 228 Runs || 66 H.S. || 17.53 Average || 136.52 Strike Rate.

Delhi’s young Indian opener looked solid at the start of the Indian Premier League, however, Shaw tends to lose his control. Prithvi Shaw is known to give a good start to the team but the young did lose his touch as the tournament progressed. This is the major reason for Delhi’s failure. Shaw in his 13 innings scored just 228 runs with a strike rate of 136 and it just includes two half-centuries.

Dinesh Karthik(KKR):

14 Games || 169 Runs || 58 H.S. || 14.08 Average || 126.11 Strike Rate.

The KKR skipper, early in the season did not have a good start. However, failure in his batting led him to leave KKR’s leadership halfway. Karthik has probably had one of the worst seasons in IPL. KKR’s wicket keeper batsman managed to score just 129 runs from the 14 games he played, with a strike rate of 126 and managed to reach a half centuries in his 14 appearances.

Glenn Maxwell(KXIP):

13 Games || 108 Runs || 32 H.S. || 15.42 Average || 101.88 Strike Rate.

The Australian dangerous middle-order batsman known for his deadly innings however this time failed to create a single impact. Maxwell was brought by KXIP for whooping 10.75 crores but it did not pay off. Glenn Maxwell in his all 13 outings managed to get mere 108 runs with a strike rate of 106, which definitely is not justified to his caliber. A season to forget for Maxwell surely.

MS Dhoni(CSK):

14 Games || 200 Runs || 47* H.S. || 25.00 Average || 116.27 Strike Rate.

The CSK skipper has had a disastrous time in Dream11 IPL 2020. MS Dhoni took retirement from International cricket soon before the start of IPL and fans were excited to cheer for MS in IPL, but MS Dhoni did not looked comfortable. Not only Dhoni’s performance went down but the whole CSK did not disappointed the fans. Dhoni on his 12 innings in 14 outings managed to hit just 200 runs milestone with a strike rate of 116.

Kedar Jadhav(CSK):

8 Games || 62 Runs || 26 H.S. || 20.66 Average || 93.93 Strike Rate.

Another CSK batsman who would want to forget this season for his poor performance. Kedar Jadhav showed a full flop show in the 2020 edition of IPL. CSK sometimes got criticized for promoting Kedar Jadhav ahead of Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo. However, Chennai management kept playing with him for 8 matches in which he scores only 62 runs with a strike rate of below 100.

Andree Russell(KKR):

10 Games || 117 Runs || 25 H.S. || 13.00 Average || 144.44 Strike Rate.

10 Games || 6 Wickets || 2/29 B.B.F. || 9.72 Economy.

The West Indies’ muscle power looked helpless during the whole season. KKR management at times looked after Russell to give them a good score but Russell could not find his sweet spot. As a result, Andree Russell played 10 games for KKR and managed to score 117 runs with a strike rate of 144.

Sunil Narine(KKR):

10 Games || 121 Runs || 64 H.S. || 13.44 Average || 142.35 Strike Rate.

10 Games || 5 Wickets || 2/28 B.B.F. || 7.94 Economy.

Yet another nightmare for Kolkata Knight Riders fans and management, Sunil Narine struggled to find his pace. Narine was initially known for his bowling but Gautam Gambhir (Captain of KKR at that time) promoted him to open the innings. However, Narine did gave some flying start to the innings. This time it looked totally opposite of what they thought. KKR management shuffled Narine everywhere but he failed to do something big. Narine in his 10 appearances scored 121 runs with a strike rate of 142 and got a one-half century. Talking about the bowling, that too looked ordinary. Sunil Narine managed to pick just 5 wickets in 10 games he played.

Navdeep Saini(RCB):

13 Games || 6 Wickets || 2/25 B.B.F. || 8.29 Economy.

Royal Challenger Bangalore’s lead pace bowler had a bad time with the IPL 2020. Navdeep Saini who managed to keep batsman under control in the super over against Mumbai Indians, with the likes of Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya struggled at the later stages. Saini was benched by the RCB in some games due to his poor performances. The pacer played 13 games for RCB but just picked 6 wickets.

Jaydev Unadkat(RR):

7 Games || 4 Wickets || 2/32 B.B.F. || 9.91 Economy.

Jaydev Unadkat has been the familiar face who appeared in the list of flop 11 for the past few years. After a good start to the career, Unadkat could not pick his pace. Yet another time he is featured in the flop XI. Unadkat for RPS in 2017 performed phenomenally. After that, there is a downfall in his career. The RR bowler, Jaydev Unadkat in his 7 appearances managed 4 wickets with a poor economy rate of 9.9.

Kuldeep Yadav(KKR):

5 Games || 1 Wicket || 1/20 B.B.F. || 7.66 Economy.

A poor showdown by another Kolkata player. Kuldeep one of the best in the T20 games in present times had a poor time with the franchise. The left-arm bowler did not perform for KKR in the previous edition too. Kuldeep Yadav did not get many games due to his poor performances and in 5 appearances managed just a single wicket. This is definitely an alarming sign for the BCCI, as their lead bowlers are not in form.
