Former CSK Players Speak Ups Why RCB Can't Able To Get Any Trophy.

Shadab Jakati who played for CSK and RCB has commented on RCB's failure in IPL. Jakati was part of Chennai Super Kings during the year 2010 and 2011 team, Jakati then joined RCB in year 2014, where he only managed to play one match only. More than a 10 year later after leaving Royal Challengers Bangalore, Shadab said that the RCB's management only focused on 2-3 big players which was a major reason for their underperforms to win an IPL trophy.

Jakati later says that Cricket is a team game and 2-3 players cannot help you to win the tournament rather you have to work like a unit if you want to win a Trophy. Jakati says that CSK had a strong combination of Indian players and some good foreign players. And the combination is important to achieve the trophy. When he was in Royal Challengers Bangalore, the whole focus was on the two to three players only," Shadab said in an interview with Sportskeeda.

"The dressing room atmosphere is concerned for the team. Players were very good in their game, but it was a lack of camaraderie, the players did not get properly," Shadab added.

He then compared RCB's atmosphere with the atmosphere at CSK. Shadab became one of the vital players in the unit for CSK for a few seasons.

"As I said, the role of the team management make the difference. Chennai Super kings's management was very good as compared to others. These are the small small of things that makes a big difference. So, these are the differences I felt in Chennai and Bangalore."

Shadab's contribution for the CSK in the final 2010 and 2011 was very good.

Under MS's captaincy, Jakati was a part of the winning member team in IPL 2010 and 2011. In the IPL 2010 final, Jakati got the wicket of Captain Sachin on the score of 48 from 45 balls. In final 2010 Jakati took two wickets for 26 runs from three overs. CSK won it by 22 runs. In the 2011 final against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Jakati got the prized wicket of ABD. He conceded 21 runs with 2 Wickets where he bowled 4 overs of his quota four overs, and CSK beat RCB in the 58-run of huge victory in the final.

Currently, Shadab Jakati is 44-year-old and currently, he is part of India Royals in the Asian Legends League 2025.
