GT vs MI: Gujarat Titans (GT) has announced the replacement for the young batter Robin Minz ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The young batter was ruled out of the tournament a few days ahead of the league.
Robin Minz met with a road accident and got himself injured ahead of the GT vs MI fixture. He was admitted to the hospital and then underwent treatment for the injuries. Things didn’t look serious and it was expected that he would play the full season.
However, things were much worse than expected. Robin Minz was deemed unfit to play and was ruled out of the IPL 2024. The development was confirmed by the GT head coach Ashish Nehra recently when he attended the press conference days ahead of GT vs MI.

Robin Minz was one of the most talked about names heading into the IPL 2024. He has been a consistent performer for Karnataka in junior level cricket and it would’ve been a great opportunity for him to showcase his talent on the biggest stage. But destiny had something else written for him.
In his place, Gujarat Titans have included wicketkeeper-batter B R Sharath, who represents Karnataka in Domestic Cricket. The young batter has been rewarded based on his performances in the domestic cricket. He will be joining the team ahead of the GT vs MI game in Ahmedabad on Sunday (24th March).
B R Sharath has played 28 T20s so far, scoring 328 runs. Apart from his, he has also played 43 List A games. He will be joining Gujarat Titans for his base price of INR 20 Lac in the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
GT vs MI: Rajasthan Royals rope in Tanush Kotian as a replacement for Adam Zampa
Rajasthan Royals also suffered a massive setback ahead of the start of the IPL. Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa pulled out of the tournament due to personal reasons. He wanted to spend time with his family and stay fresh for the T20 World Cup.
In his place, Rajasthan Royals named all-rounder Tanush Kotian in the squad. He played a huge role in Mumbai winning their 42nd title in the Ranji Trophy. He will be joining the franchise for his base price of INR 20 Lac. He has represented Mumbai in 23 T20s, 26 First-Class games and 19 List A matches.
