Hardik Pandya and Mohammed Shami’s injury update by Jay Shah: A huge update has come out regarding the possible return from injury of India’s two main players, Hardik Pandya and Mohammed Shami. The Indian Cricket Team fans are going to be delighted after hearing this update. Hardik Pandya got injured during the Men in Blue’s group stage match of the 2023 ODI World Cup against Bangladesh on the 19th of October, while Mohammed Shami was playing with an injured ankle throughout the 2023 ODI World Cup.

The Men in Blue are in South Africa currently and are going to play a total of 8 matches vs. the Proteas, which included 3 T20i’s, 3 Odi’s, and 2 Test Matches. While the selectors have not included Hardik in any of the squads, Mohammed Shami is a part of the test team, which is supposed to play the two test matches against South Africa.

After the end of the WPL 2024 auction, Jay Shah provided an update regarding Hardik Pandya and said that the BCCI is constantly monitoring the injury of the all-rounder on a day-to-day basis. “Hardik is currently at the NCA, and he is working very hard. We will give you an update in due course, the moment he is fit. He is expected to return to full fitness before the T20i series vs. Afghanistan.”

The secretary of BCCI also gave an update regarding Mohammed Shami’s injury and said that “Shami should be ready for the Test Series vs. South Africa. He is not at the NCA but will go there soon. We are confident that our star pacer will recover in time, he added.
